Karlous Miller was born on April 2, 1983, and was raised in Oxford, Mississippi. He grew up with five siblings.
His family was known to be friendly. He states that his family is a blend of different characters and that many of his family members later became the basis of his creativity.
Miller worked as a full-time firefighter in his hometown, before moving to Altlanta, Georgia, in 2005. He moved to Atlanta with the purpose of becoming a comedian and soon started to look for work.
Some believe that he moved to Atlanta after being exposed as a drug dealer and finally decided to pursue a career in comedy after discovering his talent as an entertainer.

‘Yo Momma’ was an American TV show based on “yo momma” jokes. The show involved insulting one’s mother and ran from April 2006 to December 2007. It featured a lot of celebrity rappers and singers as guests. Miller was a guest in one of the episodes of the show.
‘Hell Date’ was a prank show where celebrities pretended to be participants in a dating show, with a purpose to ruin the experience of their dates. The show ran for two seasons, from 2007 to 2008.
‘Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?’ was another show that featured Miller. It was a stand-up comedy competition hosted by Bill Bellamy. The show ran for four seasons, starting on August 22, 2006, and ending on October 4, 2009.
‘Comic View’ was another stand-up comedy show that featured Miller. The show began airing in 1992 and returned to TV screens in May 2014. It served as a launching platform for comedians such as Dante, DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Sommore, and Rodney Perry.
