She has not only been successful in winning millions of hearts in her homeland with several notable TVB television series for almost two decades but has also expanded her career beyond national borders, in China. A graduate from the International Hotel Management Institute Switzerland, she took part in the 1997 Miss Hong Kong Pageant and finished as second runner-up following which she was signed under TVB, the first wireless commercial TV station in her homeland.
