Tottenham have reportedly identified Antonio Rudiger this summer as an ideal transfer target from Real Madrid.
Antonio Conte has become furious with his defense at Spurs this season after a miserable campaign at the back and the transfer window could provide some solutions.
According to Fichajes, Tottenham are looking to potentially sign Rudiger from Real Madrid this summer – just a year after joining the club.
It is further stated that the Germany international hasn’t settled well at the Bernabeu despite becoming a key player under Carlo Ancelotti.
And Spurs should take the opportunity to lure Real bosses with an offer this summer under instructions from Conte, who knows the centre-back well from his time at Chelsea.
It was the Italian who brought Rudiger to Stamford Bridge in 2017 from AS Roma, where he became a fan favorite under Thomas Tuchel en route to winning the Champions League in 2021.
But Conte wants him in north London to bolster what has been a chaotic defense this season.
Tottenham have conceded 35 goals this year in the Premier League – more than anyone in the top 10 by five.

A 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Leicester led to talkSPORT host Jamie O’Hara lambasting the team while Conte made no secret of his desire to spend more money at the club.

The Croatia international was chased by Chelsea and Manchester City last summer but they missed out as the defender signed a new contract with RB Leipzig.
But that only put off suitors for another year as a move to Real would facilitate an exit for Rudiger, who is said to have been mulling a return to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old seemed suited to a three-at-the-back system under Chelsea, where his swashbuckling runs were supported by the extra protection.
However, it also remains to be seen whether Conte will stay at Spurs for longer than the current season, with his contract due to expire at the end of the campaign.
A lot could hinge on whether or not Tottenham chief Daniel Levy gives the ex-Italy boss the money to play this summer.
