The FIR was filed by Prashant Gunjalkar, who runs an artist management company and was present at Khan’s Bandra residence when the email arrived. The email, sent from the ID ‘Rohit Garg,’ asked Khan to watch Bishnoi’s interview and speak with Goldy bhai to close the matter. The FIR was registered under Indian Penal Code sections 120-B (Punishment for criminal conspiracy), 506-II (Punishment for criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention).

Goldy Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi are both suspects in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Bishnoi is currently imprisoned in Bathinda jail.
