Sending Teachers Abroad: HP Govt's Move for Quality Education

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, announced that the state government is making efforts to send teachers abroad to expose them to emerging technologies in the education field, aiming to bring about qualitative improvement in education. The government is also introducing new technical courses to provide better employment opportunities for the youth. The state will be starting a new course in tourism adventure, MA Economics and Public Administration classes from the next session, and upgrading the career counselling centre of the college. The government will also be providing subsidies and loans to meritorious girls and poor children who want to pursue professional courses. The Education Minister Rohit Thakur expressed his gratitude to the CM for the budget allocation of Rs 8,828 crore for education and announced the setup of Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools in every assembly constituency in the state. The government is bringing important reforms in the field of education to prepare students to face future challenges and keep up with emerging technologies, investing in the education sector, with a focus on new technical courses and infrastructure development, to provide better employment opportunities for the youth of the state.

Furthermore, the CM also announced the provision of Rs 5 crore for setting up a digital library and improving classrooms and other infrastructure in the college. The state will also be starting a new course in tourism adventure, MA Economics and Public Administration classes from the next session, and upgrading the career counselling centre of the college.

The chief minister also announced a subsidy of Rs 25,000 to purchase e-scooty to 20,000 meritorious girls, and provision of loans at one per cent interest to the poor children who want to pursue professional courses.

The Education Minister Rohit Thakur expressed his gratitude to the CM for the budget allocation of Rs 8,828 crore for education and announced that Rajiv Gandhi Day Boarding Schools would be set up in every assembly constituency in the state.
