During the event, the latest 2023 edition of the RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes Mellitus was released for postgraduate students. In his speech, Dr Singh praised the Modi-led government for making history with path-breaking decisions, including doing away with attestation by a gazetted officer and no interviews for non-gazetted posts, which he believes are the best times for India under PM Modi. He also mentioned that the North East has become a role model of development in India under PM Modi’s leadership. Dr Singh believes that the North East’s development has now become an example for other regions to follow. Dr Jitendra Singh also released a book on Diabetes Mellitus with Dr. Yudvir, Dr. H L Goswami, Dr. Vijay Gupta, Dr. Rajinder Singh, Dr. R P Kudiyar, Dr. Shashi Sudan, and Dr. Pawan Malhotra.
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh praises North East’s development under PM Modi’s leadership
Dr Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, recently attended the Medicos Meet ‘Celebrating the Multi-faceted’ in Jammu as the chief guest. During the event, the latest 2023 edition of the RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes Mellitus was released for postgraduate students, which includes a foreword and an exclusive chapter by Dr Singh, who is also a nationally known Diabetologist and Professor of Diabetes & Medicine.
In his speech, Dr Jitendra Singh praised the Modi-led government for making history with path-breaking decisions that have not been made in the last 70 years. He cited examples such as doing away with attestation by a gazetted officer, no interviews for non-gazetted posts, and greater relaxation in pensionary rules like pensions for divorce daughters and missing government employees, as well as digital life certificates for pensioners. He believes that these are the best times for India under PM Modi, and India’s contribution is being acknowledged in every field worldwide.
Dr Jitendra Singh also mentioned that under PM Modi’s leadership, the COVID-19 adversity has turned into an opportunity in India. India has indigenously developed the world’s first DNA vaccine and nasal vaccine for COVID-19, which has strengthened Atma Nirbhar Bharat and bolstered India’s status as a worldwide vaccine development and manufacturing centre.
Dr Jitendra Singh said that the North East has become a role model of development in India under PM Modi’s leadership, where the mantra of ‘Reform, Perform and Transform’ can be best seen. He believes that the North East’s development has now become an example for other regions to follow.
Apart from releasing the RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes Mellitus, Dr Jitendra Singh also released a book on Diabetes Mellitus with Dr. Yudvir, Dr. H L Goswami, Dr. Vijay Gupta, Dr. Rajinder Singh, Dr. R P Kudiyar, Dr. Shashi Sudan, and Dr. Pawan Malhotra.
