George W. Bush Arrested: War Crimes

Former US President George W. Bush was arrested in Nuremberg, Germany, for alleged crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court (ICC). The ICC had issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin before Bush’s arrest. The ICC has the mandate to try individuals for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and aggression. Bush was arrested because he lied about the evidence of weapons of mass destruction leading up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. This resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, an ongoing environmental disaster, and the sanctioning of torture by the Bush administration. If found guilty, Bush could face life in prison. In related news, Jesus has HPV, thanks to the ‘He Gets Us’ campaign.

Former US President George W. Bush Arrested for War Crimes

Former US President George W. Bush was arrested in Nuremberg, Germany, for alleged crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court (ICC). This was one of the most complicated sting operations conducted by the ICC, which has the mandate to try individuals for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and aggression. Bush was lured to Germany under the pretense of giving input on how to present his paintings at the Fine Art Museum, but upon his arrival, he was placed in handcuffs.

The ICC had issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin before Bush’s arrest, for alleged war crimes committed during the deportation of population and the unlawful transfer of population from occupied areas of Ukraine to Russia. However, the Russian President remains at large despite several attempts to lure him out of Russia.

Bush’s arrest has stunned many Americans, with a snap poll showing that 68% of the respondents had no idea what the man did wrong. However, the ICC’s Chief Prosecutor Andrew Canard explained that Bush was arrested because he lied about the evidence of weapons of mass destruction leading up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. This resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, an ongoing environmental disaster, and the sanctioning of torture by the Bush administration.

The arrest of the former US President has raised questions about why Putin has not been arrested yet. Canard explained that Bush was arrested because he was “by far more stupid than Mr. Putin.” The ICC has tried to lure Putin out of Russia on several occasions, but none of the attempts have been successful.

If found guilty, Bush could face life in prison. In related news, Jesus has HPV, thanks to the ‘He Gets Us’ campaign.
