Orange Grove Bio, a US-based drug investment and development company, has formed strategic collaborations with Yonsei University Health System and Pohang University of Science and Technology to strengthen the biotech entrepreneurial ecosystem in South Korea. These partnerships represent the company’s first international collaborations, highlighting a strategic geographic expansion of the company’s efforts to harness the significant research potential found in universities and academic medical centers outside the US. Under these partnerships, Orange Grove Bio will support the development and commercialisation of novel therapeutics and will spearhead educational programming and entrepreneurial initiatives for researchers at both universities. The collaborations will focus on creating opportunities for company creation and drug development in the areas of oncology, as well as autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. With these collaborations, Orange Grove Bio is establishing a foundation for serving as a bridge between the biotechnology industries in the US and Korea, which marks a significant milestone for the company in its efforts to strengthen the biotech entrepreneurial ecosystem in South Korea.
