For the uninitiated, Chromecast is a plug-in that plugs into your TV’s HDMI port and lets you stream hundreds of thousands of movies and TV show episodes, as well as live TV and music. It works with most TVs and allows you to get all your streaming services together in one place, making it much easier to stream.
This set comes with the streaming stick that you connect to your TV and a remote control with Google Assistant that allows you to use voice commands for your TV. You can also control other devices in your home, like your lights or Google Nest, through Chromecast’s Google Assistant.
Chromecast HD is currently 33 percent cheaper, but if you want to stream the big game in 4K, you’ll be happy Chromecast 4K is also on sale, but with a 20 percent discount. Slightly more expensive at $40, you can enjoy everything the HD version offers, but with 4K video resolution instead of 1080 HDR.
Whichever you choose, not only will you be able to watch the game the way you want to stream it, but it will also give you suggestions on what to watch next after the game ends. A literal win-win situation.
