Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum are making headlines recently, and it has nothing to do with their acting careers. The now 32-year-old actress Zoe Kravitz is recently divorced from former husband Karl Glusman. And Channing Tatum is no longer dating his previous girlfriend Jessie J. This could be because rumors are circulating that Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum are dating now. As of recently, an insider spoke with Entertainment Tonight and said that Zoe and Channing were definitely a couple. “Zoe and Channing are dating. It started out as a friendship and eventually turned to be more,” the insider said.
“The duo was recently spotted at a restaurant in New York City being very affectionate,” the insider went on to say. Channing Tatum and Zoe Kravitz started to hit headlines as a potential couple earlier this month when they were seen by the media on a bike ride. The two were peddling around New York City, and then again later when they were photographed at a supermarket, leaving with each other.
This comes after Kravitz finalized her divorce from Glusman. The two started dating back in 2016. They were engaged in 2018, and then later married in June 2019. They held their ceremony in Paris, France at the home of her father Lenny Kravitz.
Kravitz and Glusman had just celebrated their one-year anniversary a few months before the divorce. Zoe posted a wedding photo on Instagram and Glusman also celebrated their nuptials online with the caption, “” Not the year we expected… but I feel like if we can make it through this, we can take on anything. I love you. More than anything.”
Channing Tatum’s budding romance with Kravitz comes at the end of his relationship with singer Jessie J, as Kravitz is the first public relationship since. Jessie J and Tatum started dating back in 2018 and broke things off in 2020. Tatum was also married to Jennie Dewan, and the two have an eight-year-old daughter named Everly.
After the speculation of it all, Channing Tatum may have confirmed the suspicions with his recent social media activity. He is now following Zoe Kravitz on Instagram, and he also now follows four different fan accounts of Zoe Kravitz. Although this is not an actual statement, this is probably the closest thing to confirmation of their relationship that exists currently.
“Chan was my first choice [for the male lead role of a tech billionaire], the one I thought of when I wrote this character,” Kravitz said to Deadline. “I just knew from Magic Mike and his live shows, I got the sense he’s a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter.”
Tatum also said amazing things about Kravitz starring in the film. “When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked. I didn’t know her. I’d watched her in movies, knew she produced High Fidelity and had seen that, but I didn’t know she was creating on a level like this, where she wanted to direct.” Tatum said.
“This came out of nowhere and the subject matter made me say, wait, why are you thinking about me for this? No one gives me a chance to play a role like this, everybody throws me down a different alley and expects me to do a certain thing. It was scary and liberating, just to be able to have a free conversation, where I was allowed to mess up, and say the wrong things. It became less about men and women and more of a human thing that will open people’s eyes, rather than us drawing lines in the sand, you’re a man, I’m a woman, it’s us against you thing,” Tatum continued on.
“This goes deeper in a direction I’m fascinated by, and I’m interested in seeing how people receive this and break it down in their own lives. And what they think the movie means and how would they have made decisions.”
