“Atom Egoyan and Amanda Seyfried Team Up to Create A Must-See Masterpiece with Chloe”

Amanda Seyfried And chloe Directors Atom Egoyan are reuniting for the upcoming drama Seven Veils. The two collaborated on the 2009 erotic thriller chloe, with Seyfried portraying the title character. For Seven Veils, Emmy Award-winning actress will play Jeanine, a theater director tasked with restaging her former mentor’s most famous work, an adaptation of Salomé, an opera by the composer Richard Strauss, based on Oscar Wilde’s play. When Jeanine re-enters the world of opera, repressed traumas surface.
In addition to directing, Egoyan wrote the film, which serves as an extension of his Salomé Revival for the Canadian Opera Company. The production debuted on February 3 to critical acclaim.

“I first produced Salome for the Canadian Opera Company almost 30 years ago and was haunted by his themes. This is a project I’ve dreamed of for years and it’s so exciting to be reunited with Amanda after the amazing experience we’ve had together Chloé”, Egoyan said in a statement.
