Love lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
What: Love Lights returns to Capilano Suspension Bridge February 3-26, with Valentine’s Day-themed lights transforming the park. Bring your loved ones to enjoy the splendor of the Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure and the Arc de Lumina on the Cliffwalk, as well as special activities for romantics of all ages.
On February weekends, you can visit the Raptors Ridge Birds of Prey and enjoy live music at the park. You even have the chance to win two nights at Cathedral Mountain Lodge in the Canadian Rockies.

Candlelight: Valentine’s Day Special
What: Fever’s Candlelight celebrates Valentine’s Day this month with two romantic concerts. Rediscover heartwarming music performed by a string quartet from the Listeso Group. The program includes music by Breakfast at Tiffany’s, titanic, Romeo and Julietand more.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Vancouver Opera
What: Vancouver Opera presented A Midsummer Night’s Dream, based on Shakespeare’s timeless play. The production will feature an atmospheric score with Britten and Jacques Lacombe conducting. Enjoy the theater experience full of potions, love triangles and mistaken identities.

Valentine’s Day Dinner and a Movie — Romeo & Juliet
What: An evening of cinema and romance awaits at The Hollywood Theater in Kits. Enjoy cocktails, a delicious sharing plate for two lovingly prepared by Nuba, popcorn and two 1996 shows Romeo and Juliet Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. A film-only ticket is also available.

Burlesque duos at the Rio Theater
What: Burlesque Duos is an annual Valentine’s Day tradition in East Vancouver that celebrates partnership and creativity on the day of love. The event brings together renowned burlesque dancers to perform truly memorable duets at the Rio Theatre.
Featuring Roxy Reverie and Homo Hardware, April O’Peel and Holly Graphic, Diva the Violet Femme and Arabella Boop Gia, and Sangria and Layna Emerald. The event will be hosted by Flex’s Crystal Precious and Vixen.

Best divorce ever
What: Best divorce ever is an adult comedy about life and love. Otto and Anna decide to throw a party to celebrate their divorce, but an unexpected visitor prompts the couple to revisit important moments of their life together. The world premiere of the comedy was written by Finnish playwright Ville Nummenpää and directed by Julianne Christie.

Robson Square Ice Rink
What: Calling all whimsical winter lovers! The Robson Square Ice Rink has indoor ice skate rentals as well as an outdoor deck with heaters. Ice skating is free for all ages if you bring your own skates. Those who don’t have skates can rent them on-site for a fee, and helmets are mandatory for anyone under 12.
