The Ohio State Buckeyes came into the third day of the NCAA Championships in sixth place with 170 total points. During Friday’s finals, the Buckeyes turned in four First Team All-American performances, placing them in sixth place overall.
Meet Notes
Felicia Pasadyn got things started for the Buckeyes, earning Honorable Mention All-America recognition in the 400 IM with a time of 4:07.48, which was good enough for fifth place in the consolation final.
Katherine Zenick finished eighth in the 100 fly with a time of 51.11, earning her First Team All-America honors.
Amy Fulmer claimed Honorable Mention All-America status by finishing fourth in the 200 free consolation final with a time of 1:43.78.
The Buckeyes had two First Team All-Americans in the 100 breast, with Hannah Bach placing sixth with a time of 58.08, and Josie Panitz finishing seventh with a time of 58.12.
Lena Hentschel earned Honorable Mention All-America honors for the second consecutive night, finishing third in the 3-meter dive consolation final with an overall score of 334.95.
The Buckeyes concluded the night with a First Team All-American relay performance. The relay team of Nyah Funderburke, Josie Panitz, Katherine Zenick, and Amy Fulmer finished the 400 medley relay in 3:28.18, placing sixth.

On day three of the NCAA Championships, the Ohio State Buckeyes finished in sixth place with 170 total points. The team turned in two top-10 performances in the 100 breaststroke and 3-meter dive, as well as a sixth-place finish in the 400 medley relay.
100 Breaststroke
Ohio State’s Hannah Bach and Josie Panitz both earned First Team All-American honors in the 100 breaststroke, with Bach placing sixth with a time of 58.08 and Panitz finishing just 0.04 seconds later, taking seventh place with a time of 58.12.
3-Meter Dive
Lena Hentschel earned Honorable Mention All-American honors by finishing eleventh in the 3-meter dive with an overall score of 334.95.
400 Medley Relay
The Buckeyes closed out the night yet again with a First Team All-American relay performance. The relay team of Nyah Funderburke, Panitz, Zenick, and Fulmer finished the 400 medley relay in 3:28.18 to place sixth.
Top 10 Team Scores
The Buckeyes remained in sixth place overall, behind Virginia, Texas, Stanford, Louisville, and NC State, and ahead of Florida, Tennessee, UNC, and Indiana.
