On March 22, several people were unable to access services like Gmail, Drive, and more as Google went down. Over 2,000 outrage reports were recorded on Downdetector. Users reported a 502 error on their Gmail sign-in page. The tech giant has not provided any official statement regarding the cause of the outage.

Twitter’s New Verification Policy

Twitter announced that from April 1, it would discontinue its legacy verified program for blue ticks. To retain the verified status, accounts will have to subscribe to the Twitter Blue program through monthly or yearly options. Monthly subscribers will have to pay Rs 650 per month, while an annual subscription will cost Rs 6,800 per year.

Vu Launches New TV Models

Vu Televisions launched its latest Vu Premium TV 2023 Edition earlier this week. The model is available in two sizes, 43 inches and 55 inches, and features a 400-nit-bright IPS panel. The TV has a 50W built-in Soundbar with Dolby Audio, voice-activated hotkey remote control, and is powered by the latest Google TV Operating System.
