SITA Revolutionizes HKIA's Carbon Emissions.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) has enlisted the services of SITA to enhance its carbon emissions tracking capabilities. SITA will provide a carbon management platform that can monitor carbon emissions data across the airport environment, which will gather and aggregate data on carbon emissions from various sources within the airport. HKIA has set a 2050 target to achieve its net-zero carbon emissions goal, with a 55% absolute emissions reduction target by 2035. The platform is expected to deliver clear, precise, and customizable visualizations of data, helping improve efficiency in HKIA’s carbon reporting initiatives. The collaboration aims to provide comprehensive and accurate carbon emissions tracking against the long-term target for both AAHK and each of the pledged business partners, and serves as a foundation for transparent reporting.
