Zhuri James

Zhuri Nova James was born on October 22, 2014 in the city of Cleveland, Ohio to LeBron James and Savannah James. Her father, LeBron James, is a NBA basketball superstar who rose to fame in the early 2000s. Her mother, Savannah James, was also an athlete and played softball during high school and later became a cheerleader. Her parents were high-school sweethearts and married only in September 2013. She has two older brothers: LeBron James Jr. (b. 2004) and Bryce Maximus James (b. 2007). Her parents purchased a $21 million mansion in Brentwood, Los Angeles in 2015, and the family currently resides there.

Zhuri’s fame arrived even before she was born. When the star couple, LeBron James and his high-school sweetheart turned wife Savannah James, announced they were expecting their third child, the media went into a frenzy as this was their first child after the marriage. Zhuri’s birth in October 2014 was a happy moment for the family as they finally felt complete with three children: two sons and a daughter. Her name ‘Zhuri’ was chosen after much deliberation. It is derived from the Swahili term for ‘beautiful’. Despite being famous, the parents decided to not post any photographs of Zhuri on social media for a long time. Zhuri was first seen in public when she appeared at the NBA finals during Game 7. She posed alongside her brothers and parents for her father’s NBA title trophy. Since then, Zhuri has been spotted alongside her parents and brother in many public events as well as important matches.

Everything about Zhuri’s life known to the public is gleaned from her parents’ social media accounts. Recently, her mother posted a video of Zhuri watching Beenie Man’s ‘King of the Dancehall’ and stated that Zhuri is a huge fan of Beenie Man. She is also known for being a daddy’s princess and is often pampered by her father. For her third birthday, James Sr. threw a lavish Moana-themed birthday party. LeBron James is quite open about his affection for his youngest child and has stated that she continues to inspire him every day. More recently, Zhuri celebrated her fourth birthday amidst other children with a superhero-themed birthday party. She was also seen on the big screen wishing her father the best for his match. As she is very young, Zhuri does not have her own social media presence.
