Zachary Williams is married to Alexandra Mallick, who is currently working as the executive director of a nonprofit organization called ‘Re:store Justice.’ The organization, which was founded in 2017, works towards the betterment of the incarcerated people. It also aims at reforming the criminal justice system in the United States. Zak has two half-siblings - Zelda Rae Williams and Cody Alan Williams. Both Zelda and Cody were born from Robin Williams’ second marriage with Marsha Garces. Unlike their half-brother, Zak, Zelda and Cody decided to establish themselves in the field of entertainment. Zachary Pym Williams was born on April 11, 1983, in San Francisco, California, to Robin Williams and Valerie Velardi. Thanks to his father’s popularity, Zak appeared in a couple of TV series like ‘Extra’ and ‘Entertainment Tonight’ while he was still a kid. After completing his high school and college education, Zak went on to obtain an MBA degree from the famous ‘Columbia University’ at New York. By now, he had decided not to follow in his famous father’s footsteps and tread a path of his own.

In 2014, Zak Williams started teaching at the ‘San Quentin State Prison’ in California. The idea was suggested by his wife, Alexandra Mallick, who at that time was serving as an associate director at ‘Human Rights Watch.’ Around this time, Zak was introduced to a man named Curtis Carroll, with whom he started teaching at the prison every week. Eventually, Zak started giving more time helping those in need, which had him joining hands with various non-profit organizations.

Zak is currently associated with a nonprofit organization, ‘Bring Change to Mind,’ as one of the board members. The organization, which was co-founded by actress and activist, Glenn Close, in the year 2010, aims at creating platforms to discuss mental health in order to raise awareness about various mental health issues. Zak also serves as a board member at a couple of other benevolent organizations, such as ‘San Francisco Film Society’ and ‘Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.’

Zak, who was close to his father, was seen discussing Robin’s struggles in the HBO feature documentary.
