Yung Joc was born as Jasiel Amon Robinson on April 2, 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Not much is known about his family or early life. Moving to his love life, he got married to Alexandria Robinson in 2001. The couple had three children before getting divorced in 2014. Besides Robinson, Joc was also associated with four other women with whom he has eight children, namely Amoni, Amir, Chase, Ja’Kori, Eden, Allon, Cadence, and Camora.

Young Joc started his career in 2005 when he collaborated with Nitti Beatz and released his song ‘It's Goin Down’. After this, he got signed to the label ‘Bad Boy South’ and released his debut album titled ‘New Joc City’ through it. Then the rapper’s single ‘I Know U See It’ came out. The songs ‘It's Goin Down’ as well as ‘I Know U See It’ became huge hits, reaching #3 and #17 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. Joc’s second album ‘Hustlenomics’ got released in 2007 and it included the tracks ‘Bottle Poppin’’ and ‘Coffee Shop’.

In the year 2008, the American singer got featured in the songs ‘So Fly’, ‘Get Like Me’ and ‘Beep’. Then in 2009, he released his mixtape ‘Grind Flu’ on his label website Swagg Team Entertainment. After this, Yung Joc’s single ‘Yeah Boy’ from his album named ‘Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood’ came out. In 2014, the hip hop recording artist released his first official single ‘I Got Bitches’ for his third album. This was followed by the second single ‘Features’. In 2014, Young Joc was cast as a supporting member in VH1’s reality show ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’. He then joined the show ‘Leave It To Stevie’ which is airing till now.

Career

Yung Joc and Gucci Mane together kindled controversy when the latter’s song ‘Fuck The World’ was released. This song consisted of a line ‘I got all eyes on me like Pac did, but I ain't tryin' to go broke like Joc did’. This made Joc angry and he responded to this song by saying that Mane is an expert in getting his name in other’s mouths. He also stated “I ain't trippin', I know what my financial situation is.”

Controversies & Scandals

Joc again made the headlines in 2009 when it was announced that he was about to sue Block Entertainment and Bad Boy Entertainment due to unpaid royalties. Three years later, the singer along with these labels got sued by Master Mind Music, a local Atlanta record label, due to copyright infringement.
