Younes Bendjima

Younes Bendjima was born on May 5, 1993, in Algeria to a restaurant owner. His parents separated while he was still very young, after which his father moved to New York, USA, while his mother relocated to Paris, France. He spent much of his youth in New York, with his father, who had opened a traditional Algerian restaurant there. He also often helped his father by working at his restaurant. He visited his mother in France each year during the summer vacation, which is why he can speak French fluently. Apart from English and French, he is also fluent in Arabic.

In 2011, while living in New York and working at his father's restaurant, Younes Bendjima was approached by a talent scout who offered him an interview with a modeling agency. Younes, who as a child dreamed of becoming a boxer, was taking boxing training at the time with the hope of pursuing that dream. As such, he ignored the modeling opportunity initially, but after he failed to win a series of boxing competitions, he decided to try his luck in the modeling industry.

He signed a professional contract with Next Model Management and appeared in several print campaigns for the next two years. In 2013, he was one of the models walking the catwalk for Givency for their Spring/Summer Campaign. However, despite his flourishing modeling career, it is his romantic involvements that has kept him in the news for a long time. He first made headlines in mid-2015 for his relationship with British model Jourdan Dunn. As the news of his break up with the model spread on tabloids in October 2016, it was revealed that he was already seeing reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian. Rumors about their relationship soon became a sensation on the internet, and he has since then graced the pages of tabloid regularly. While rumors ended after they made their relationship public in mid-2017, the paparazzi has had a busier time snapping them while vacationing together or attending various events.

Younes Bendjima began dating model Jourdan Dunn after they met at the Met Gala in New York in May 2015. They subsequently spent the New Year's Eve vacationing together in Bali. However, they eventually separated in October 2016, and within a week, rumors of him dating Kourtney Kardashian started to do the rounds of tabloids. They reportedly met during the Paris Fashion Week in October. The same month, while covering the raid by armed burglars at the apartment of Kourtney's sister Kim, news outlets reported that Younes was spending time with Kourtney and her other sister Khloe at the time.

In December 2016, they were spotted together leaving a hotel in Paris. For years, tabloid were already obsessed with Kourtney's on-and-off relationship with her estranged husband Scott Disick, the father of her three children. As a result, her dating a model 14 years younger than herself provided enough materials for the gossip mill. The couple has made several appearances together since then, including a casual outing in West Hollywood, California, on May 4, 2017. They subsequently made their relationship official by cozying up during a romantic trip to the 2017 Cannes Film Festival later that month.

In November 2017, they were seen enjoying a date at a concert in Hollywood, during which they didn't mind publicly showcasing their affection in front of clicking cameras. It was reported that this was an attempt on her part to take revenge on her ex who had invited his new flame to a Kardashian family holiday. In early March 2018, the two unfollowed each other on Instagram, and he subsequently deleted his account, sparking rumors of a split. However, a few days later he reopened his Instagram and posted a sweet message tagging Kourtney, indicating that all was well between them.
