Will Kopelman

Will Kopelman was born on July 7, 1978, in New York City, New York to former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman and his wife Coco. He graduated from Boston University in Massachusetts. He has a sister named Jill who is now a writer famous for 'Momzillas' and 'The Ex-Mrs. Hegefund'. Her sister attended the Manhattan private school, Spence, with actress, Gwyneth Paltrow, and went on to marry Harry Kargman, founder and CEO of Kargo. His grandfather had fought in the World War II and he wears the dog tags his grandfather used to wear while serving in the military. He is an avid snowboarder and also likes to practice aim at the shooting range.

According to 'People' magazine, Will Kopelman has earned a name for himself as an art advisor and boasts of clients from the entertainment industry, as well as billionaires from the Silicon Valley. 'US Magazine' reported that he had helped 'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson in picking out suitable artworks from young up-and-coming artists to decorate his Los Angeles home. He also counts actresses Zooey Deschanel and Lake Bell, and singer Ben Gibbard from the 'Death Cab for Cutie' among his clients. However, it is his marriage to, and subsequent divorce from, actress Drew Barrymore that has kept him in the news throughout the last few years.

In 2006, Will Kopelman briefly dated actress Lara Flynn Boyle, who is known for playing Donna Hayward on ABC's 'Twin Peaks'. He was involved in another short-lived relationship with actress and model Sarah Roemer, who played the lead role in 'Disturbia', from 2007 to 2009.

In 2010, he began dating actress and producer Drew Barrymore, whom he knew for the past four years. However, the couple soon hit a rough patch, but got back together in February 2011. They finally got engaged in December that year in Sun Valley, Idaho, and announced their engagement to the media in January 2012. The couple quickly tied the knot six months later on June 2, 2012 at her residence in Montecito, California. Their wedding photo was featured on the cover of 'People' magazine four days later. At the time, she was pregnant with their first daughter Olive, whom she gave birth to on September 26, 2012. The couple welcomed their second daughter Frankie Barrymore Kopelman on April 22, 2014. They lived together with the kids on the Upper East Side of New York City. However, on April 2, 2016, both Kopelman and Barrymore issued statements confirming that they had separated and were considering divorce. Barrymore filed for divorce on July 15, 2016, and the procedure was eventually finalized on August 3, 2016. Despite the split, they claim to be family and continue to co-parent the kids together.
