Vikram Barn

Though Vikram was a brilliant student in school, he was always more inclined toward YouTube. He initially began his account to pass time in April 2010. He was then in high school, and was around fifteen when he realized he had a keen interest in YouTube. Later, as he kept uploading videos of his gameplay, people liked his commentary and he acquired numerous subscribers. He was offered admission inthe University College London after high school, but declined it as he wanted to focus only on YouTube. Over the span of a couple of years, he met the future members of Sidemen. Vikram first met JJ at a game fest, and through him, he met Simon, Harry and Ethan. Together they decided to form the Sidemen Crew. Ever since, they have been stirring up quite a storm on YouTube. They often go on tours and take up challenges on their channels too. Vikram collaborates with the other members of his crew for most of his videos.

Vikram has a distinctive charm about him. He is tall and lean, with Indian ethnicity. He has jet black hair and sharp features. He uses a crescendo technique of commentary in his voice overs. He often merges humor into his videos with ease. Naturally talented and witty, he knows exactly what to say at the right time. He has millions of female fans going crazy about him, and is casual and breezy when conversing. He shares a wonderful rapport with his team, always being the victim of their jokes, but never taking it to heart. He is full of enthusiasm and tries to be innovative in his content. He loves uploading fresh content regularly. He is also called the “most hardworking” of the lot by the other Sidemen. The only one of them to pass all exams with straight A’s! He is consistent with his uploads and motivates the others in his team too.

He isn’t much of a football fan like the rest of his mates, but attends matches to cheer the teams his friends support. He loves playing video games and always aims to top the charts. He has good general knowledge. He currently moved in with the Sidemen, and has relocated to Los Angeles from London, so that he can work better. Most of the time, his life is surrounded by his team members recording YouTube videos. Hence there is always something going on, and that itself is very entertaining for him. Because of the difference in the European and American time zones, he sleeps in the day from 8 am – 4 pm. The rest of the time he is busy making videos. He hopes to visit Australia, as he finds the landscape beautiful and adventurous.
