Vicky Logan

Vicky has an artistic bent of mind since childhood that saw her getting involved in drawing, writing and musical arts as a kid. She would often express herself through such mediums. She received an award from the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra for her artwork during her elementary school days. Moreover, the family videos of Vicky helped in seeding a passion for video production in her. As she grew up she gradually became acquainted with the world of internet. While in high school she would record her everyday struggle as a student in a web-series called ‘Vicky Videos’ and shared them on Facebook.

She launched her YouTube channel ‘VICKYLEW’ in 2010 to chronicle her life in a creative fashion. She started making vlogs in her car. Her passion for photography also saw her offering photo shoots for family pictures, proms and senior portraits. Evolving as a young woman, she started watching YouTube videos on makeup and gradually developed skills on the same. She would do makeup of her friends for parties and functions and take their pictures. Encouraged by friends she endeavoured into photography and makeup business. With time, she gained confidence and contemplated sharing her own beauty tips and expertise online, particularly with the beauty community on YouTube gradually gaining attention. She started uploading video tutorials on makeup skills and also about her favourite beauty products while continuing with her freelance photography and makeup business and working as sales associate at Forever 21.

In her journey to fame and recognition, she found entertainment business graduate from Chicago, Cameron Logan, by her side. Cameron not only inspired her to follow her passion but also helped her in exploring her talents through his own knowledge in business. With time her YouTube channel garnered popularity and at present boasts of having more than 290 K subscribers and over 21 million views. The channel which has worked with the likes of Cosmopolitan, Sephora and MAC Cosmetics was rebranded as ‘VICKYLOGAN’ after she married Cameron. Two of the most popular videos of the channel are ‘Wash, Blow Out & Flat Iron Routine for Natural Hair’ (February 25, 2015) and ‘LOGAN WEDDING’ (March 3, 2014) both of which have passed a million views.

The success of the latter, a wedding video of the couple encouraged them to come up with another YouTube channel ‘LIFE WITH THE LOGANS’ on April 1, 2014. The couple share their every day adventures through this channel which has already amassed over 47K subscribers and more than 4 million views. Some of its popular vlogs are ‘Life With The Logans- Vlog #1 - PILOT’ (April 24, 2014), ‘Life With The Logans - Season 2 Vlog #6 - Anniversary in Cancún!’ (February 19, 2015) and ‘Life With The Logans - Season 2 Vlog 8 - You're So Famous! (BeautyCon)’ (March 19, 2015).

Vicky has also been successful in making her presence felt in other social media platforms. Her Instagram account ‘victoriouslogan’ has already accumulated more than 89 K followers while her Twitter account bearing same name has garnered over 27 K followers. With a thriving online presence Vicky aims to make a mark offline as well by reaching out to young women across the globe to motivate them to have faith in themselves, maintain a healthy lifestyle and make successful relationships.

Vicky was born Victoria Christian Lewis on January 3, 1992 and grew up with two younger brothers in Fort Worth, Texas, US. She completed high school in 2010 and enrolled at Texas Christian University. Initially she studied Broadcast Journalism during her freshman year and thereafter took up Strategic Communication and Public Relations with Art minor. She left university in 2012.

She met Cameron Logan through her mother and became Facebook friends in 2010. They started dating in 2011 and following a long distance relationship, they took the next step forward and tied the knot on February 14, 2014. The couple presently lives in the suburbs of Chicago. Having strong religious backgrounds, both the Logans are leaders in their church and motivate young people in developing their faith in Jesus Christ. They also encourage them on the institution of marriage and family values. They have an adorable dog called Gigi.
