Tyler Lee Hoechlin began acting in 1998, at the age of nine. He first appeared in the family flick ‘Family Tree’. After that, he did ‘Train Quest’ and ‘ Road to Perdition’. It was his stunning performance in the latter that fetched him the role of ‘Martin Brewer’ in the hit TV series ‘7th Heaven’. Then he starred in the movie ‘Grizzly Rage’. In 2008, he did the movie ‘Solstice’ followed by three movies ‘Lincoln Heights’, ‘My Boys’ and ‘Castle’ in 2009. Two years later, the actor was offered the role of ‘Derek Hale’ in MTV’s hit series ‘Teen Wolf’. This performance of Hoechlin brought immense positive response from the viewers of the show. Later on, he was offered the character of ‘Spiderman’ in another TV series ‘Supergirl’. All these contributions by Tyler Lee Hoechlin to movies and television took his name to heights and earned him millions of fans from all across the world.

Tyler Lee Hoechlin loves playing baseball. He started playing the game when he was seven-years old. It was because of his passion for the game and hard work that he was selected for the Pan-American games at the age of nine. In 2005, he received a college scholarship and played baseball for Arizona State University. Two years later, he played as an infielder for the ‘Battle Creek Bombers’ of the Northwoods League. In 2008, he played for ‘The Maxim Yankees’, a collegiate summer team based in Santa Clara.
