Topher Grace was born on 12th July 1978 in New York City. His father is John Grace, who worked for Madison Avenue. His mother Pat worked at New Canaan Country School, where she served as an assistant to the schoolmaster. Topher also has a sister named Jenny.
He grew up in Darien, Connecticut. He began acting from his school days, taking part in musicals like ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ as well as ‘The Pirates of Penzance.’ He disliked his nickname “Chris,” and preferred to be called “Topher.”
