Tim was born Timothy John Betar, on April 8, 1990, in the US. He was 15 years old when his mother died. Tim shares a great bond with his father.

Tim is married. His wife’s name is Alexis. They dated each other for some time before Tim proposed marriage in December 2015. Alexis accepted his proposal, and on December 20, 2015, Tim shared his joy through a “tweet” and a picture of Alexis's engagement ring. The following day, Tim announced his marriage through a video on 'Thirteen Wolves.' They got married eight months later, in August 2016. The couple has a daughter, but Tim has never revealed anything about her.

Tim also makes daily life vlogs that he uploads on his other channel, 'Thirteen Wolves.' The channel has only around four thousand subscribers.

Tim is also popular on 'Instagram,' where his posts have earned him over a million followers. His 'Twitter' account has around 719 thousand followers. He also owns a website that provides all the information related to Tim’s gaming career. He has collaborated with many big 'Twitch' streamers such as Ninja, Myth, and DrLupo.

In July 2018, Tim set a record on 'Twitch.' He broke the record of income in donations in a single block of four hours. Tim raised a sum of over $100,000 to fulfill the goals of a charitable event.
