Thea Nicka Kornum was born on April 22, 1998, in Åkirkeby, Bornholm, Denmark, and currently resides in Hørsholm. Her name is derived from “Dorothea” or “Dorthea,” which means ‘God's gift.’ Since 2017, she has been dating Minecraft gamer MrCrainer Benjamin Dreyer Vestergaard, with whom she runs her popular YouTube channel.

Thea is an avid fan of Marilyn Monroe, and on her Instagram account she quotes Monroe’s popular phrase “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius”.
