Taylor lives in Florida, USA, along with her three pet dogs. She has featured her dogs in some of her Instagram posts. She has also featured her sister in her YouTube videos and is very close to her sister.

She loves listening to music and was introduced to classic rock by her father when she was very young. Her favorite rock band is ‘The Lumineers,’ and her favorite songs are ‘Island in the Sun’ by Weezer and ‘Yesterday’ by ‘The Beatles.’ In one of her ‘question & answer’ videos, she revealed that she likes all kinds of music, except country music.

Taylor Darling was born on May 14, 1997. She wanted to be an actress ever since she was a kid, and participated in theatre during her school days. She was an active kid during her high school days. She used to play games like flag football, volleyball, tennis, soccer, etc.

She had her first ASMR experience as a kid. As she was watching her classmate draw a picture, she felt a tingling sensation at the back of her head and that was when she realized that she was going through something pleasant. She then got to know about ASMR in detail later in her life.

During her high school days, Taylor went through a difficult phase after her break-up. In order to relax and fall asleep without any difficulties, she started watching ASMR videos. That was when she realized the potential of ASMR, and decided to let others know about its soothing effect.

Taylor created her YouTube channel on December 10, 2014, and started posting ASMR videos. Her videos quickly gained popularity among her viewers, who were finding her videos to be useful.

She then started posting a series of videos titled ‘ASMR Triggers to Help You Sleep,’ which became a huge hit. Some of her videos under the series are well over 4 hours in length. She has even posted many ASMR roleplay videos, in which she plays different roles.

Some of her popular videos like ‘ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You Sleep’ have gathered millions of views. With more than 285 million views for all its videos, ‘ASMR Darling’ is one of the most popular ASMR YouTube channels in the USA.

She also has a second YouTube channel named ‘Darling,’ where she posts vlogs and other entertaining videos. This channel too is quite popular as it has so far gathered more than 197,000 subscribers. Some of the most viewed videos on this channel include ‘Reacting to People Reacting to my ASMR Videos,’ Reacting to the Punisher Trailer,’ and ‘My First Vlog.’

After gaining prominence as a social media star through her YouTube videos, Taylor joined other platforms like Twitter and Instagram. She has two Instagram accounts, where she posts interesting photos and videos. While her first account has more than 154,000 followers, her second Instagram account has over 69,000 followers. Her Twitter page has over 35,000 followers.
