Taras Kulakov was born on March 11, 1987 in UkSSR (now territory of Ukraine). He is known to have a brother (Dima Kulakov) as well as a sister. In the year 2009, he along with his family moved to Asheville, North Carolina. There, Kulakov worked at Walmart till 2012 while creating his early YouTube channels. Taras Kulakov created his first channel by the name ‘origami768’ in 2009. He started posting origami tutorial videos on it. Soon after, he renamed his channel to ‘Taras Kul’. This channel became quite popular and today it has more than 2.7 million subscribers.
