Tal Fishman started his YouTube journey on Apr 26, 2014 when he created the channel "Tal and Short" along with his brother Adi Fishman. The name of the channel was a reference to the two brothers' respective heights and the fact that Adi was 4 inches shorter than Tal. They would usually post goofy videos of themselves and do funny skits. They had gathered over 200k subscribers within a year. Exactly a year later, on Apr 25, 2015, Tal created his own YouTube channel named "Reaction Time." He started to post specifically "reaction" videos, reacting to other YouTube videos, celebrities and even random popular incidents. This channel has grown rapidly, reaching one million subscribers in just over a year. His primary channel currently boasts an impressive 3.8 million subscriber count with over 573 million views on his videos. He has a few other channels as well; a back up channel named "Reaction Time 2" and a new channel named "Free Time."
Tal Fishman is known for his compassionate behavior towards his fans. He is most popular for his goofy videos and funny expressions. When he created his first YouTube channel with his brother Adi, it was their dynamic relationship and tendency to poke fun at each other that caught the attention of the audience. However, after a year, his brother lost motivation in making videos and also fell short on time. Tal was on his own from there onwards, but instead of giving up, he decided to create a separate channel to post his videos. While he used to make comedy skits with his brother, he realized that he cannot do that alone as he needs help with the camera and setup. So he brainstormed ideas for the content he can post on his new channel without anyone's help, and came up with the idea of posting reaction videos. While his previous channel had managed just over 200k subscribers in a time span of over a year, his reaction videos on his new channel brought him nearly 4 million subscribers in less than two years.
Tal Fishman is contemplating expanding his reach by introducing different types of content into his YouTube videos. He has created a new channel named "Free Time" to post vlogs, skits and behind-the-scene videos. He recently ran a poll on his Twitter account on whether he should post gaming videos on his old channel or create a separate gaming channel. Most people wanted him to create a new channel for gaming. However, earlier, when asked why he doesn't post gaming videos, he had answered that he doesn't consider himself to be a good gamer and doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of an audience.
Tal often posts reaction to others roasting him or making fun of his efforts. However, he once got criticized by another YouTuber, "LeafyIsHere," for using click bait thumbnails and profiting off other people's videos. Leafy made a video on him called "THE MOST DEPRIVED MAN ON THE INTERNET" in which he criticized Tal's reaction video on the "Don't Judge Me Challenge" for overreacting, dancing, and yelling at women.
