SwaggerSouls is an American YouTube gamer and social media personality
SwaggerSouls was born on February 24, 1994, in the United States of America. His real name is Eric. Presently, he resides in the state of Idaho.
To mark the occasion of reaching one million subscribers, SwaggerSouls uploaded a face reveal video on July 7, 2018. Near the halfway mark of the video, a figure takes off the trademark medieval battle helmet that SwaggerSouls wears and a series of faces can be seen appearing one after the other. Afterwards, it is revealed that one of those faces could be SwaggerSouls’ real face. However, towards the end, celebrity YouTuber PewDiePie makes an appearance, declaring jokingly that he is the real SwaggerSouls.
SwaggerSouls set up his YouTube channel on May 8, 2015, and posted the first video on April 18, 2016. Tilted ‘Casual Shoutcasting! | CSGO’, the video shows him playing ‘Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’. As of 2018, it has accumulated over 250 thousand views to date. As one of the numerous gamers on YouTube, he has encountered fierce competition right from the beginning. In time, however, he established himself as one of the most prominent gamers on the platform. The most watched video on his channel is incidentally the face reveal video, with over 3.6 million views. Some of the other popular videos on his channel are ‘"The Therapist" | Rust,’ ‘Let Them Eat Cake" | CS:GO Funny Moments,’ ‘"Steroid Souls" | CS:GO Funny Moments,’ and ‘Highly Illegal CSGO Moments.’ Each one of these videos has earned millions of views.
Gameplay is unarguably the most common type of gaming content on YouTube. Thousands of YouTubers are publishing thousands of gameplay videos every day. In such a crowded platform, the only way to be successful is to distinguish oneself from others. SwaggerSouls does so by playing video games with strangers. The fact that he hasn’t revealed his true identity as yet also adds to his enigma.
