While talking about Susan Pompeo, it is worth mentioning that her recent fame comes from her active role in Mike Pompeo’s political career. Simultaneously, she has also gained fame for her various philanthropic works in the USA. It all started for her when she was involved in theatre and student government bodies. She then graduated from ‘Wichita State University’ (WSU_ with a major in communications.

Even after leaving ‘WSU’, Pompeo was associated with the ‘Wichita State Alumni Association’, helping them with fundraising and coordinating alumni events in the USA. She eventually went on to serve as the ‘President of the WSU National Alumni Association’.

She continued volunteering for ‘WSU’, especially with the ‘Delta Gamma Fraternity’. Her love for the state can be clearly seen from the fact that she was a board member for ‘Music Theater of Wichita’, ‘Arts Partners’, ‘Wichita Art Museum’, and ‘Jr. League of Wichita’. In her professional life, Susan worked in the private banking sector and later became the Senior Vice President at ‘Emprise Bank’. She was responsible for helping small business owners and even became the founder of the bank’s private division. With an incredibly successful fifteen years in the sector, she left, having earned the admiration of one and all.

Her influential participation in her husband Mike’s political career has been nothing short of phenomenal. She was an essential member of his team when he ran for the 2010 ‘House of Representatives’ election. She later stated that she thoroughly enjoyed the campaign process. She even appeared in a campaign advertisement entitled ‘Susan’s Boots’ supporting her husband.

Susan Pompeo was criticized severely by the media for allegedly thinking of herself as the ‘First Lady of CIA’ and using office resources, personnel, and floor space. She also drew criticism for traveling to Britain and Fort Monckton, during Mike’s official visits and for staying at ‘The Farm’. CIA representatives have dismissed the allegations as defamation attempts.
