Stormi Henley

Stormi Henley was born on 6th December 1990 in Crossville, Tennessee to Sissy Henley and Kip Henley. Kip Henley, father of Stormi, won the reality TV show, ‘The Big Break II, sponsored by ‘The Golf Channel’ that was aired for the first time in September of 2004.

She completed her graduation from Cumberland County High School in 2009 and also participated in numerous regional and local golfing meets on behalf of her school.

Henley’s boyfriend is Lucky Blue Smith who is a model by profession. She and Lucky Blue have a son named Gravity Blue Smith who was born on 26 July 2017.

Stormi Henley was a nonentity before she took part in the ‘2009 Miss Tennessee Teen USA’ contest that was held in 2008. She won the Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2009 title on 5 October 2008. She went to Nassau, Bahamas to participate in the ‘Miss Teen USA 2009’ and won the pageant on 31 July 2009. Henley became the second teenager from Tennessee to be crowned as Miss Teen USA. after Rachel Smith won the title in 2007.

As Miss Teen USA, Stormi Henley participated in several beauty contests, under the banner of Miss Universe Organization, the body which owns and organizes Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe beauty contests. Henley successfully auditioned for the 10th season of ‘American Idol’ winning the highly coveted ‘Golden Ticket’, earning her an entry in the singing competition’s Hollywood rounds but could not proceed beyond the 1st round.

In 2012, Henley signed a singing contract with CBE, a recording label owned by Chris Brown, and also signed up as a member of his music band, U.G.L.Y. However, she left the music group soon after, and began creating the score for her own songs, setting the compositions to music, and producing them as well.

Stormi Henley has also made appearances as an actress, both on the silver screen and the small screen. In 2015, she appeared in an episode (Boyle’s Hunch) of the 3rd season of the American sitcom, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’. She starred in the sci-fi movie, ‘2307: Winter’s Dream’, released in 2016. She did the voiceover in a 4-min animation flick, ‘Shiny’ (2016) and portrayed Chelsea in the 28-min thriller, ‘Midland’ where she tempts Mike Boyd, a baseball player, to attend a clandestine conclave.

Stormi Henley excels in playing golf and basketball.

She is also a seasoned pianist, capable of playing the instrument spontaneously instead of consulting a music sheet.

Stormi is older by eight years to her boyfriend Lucky Blue.
