Steven Strait

Steven Strait was born on March 23, 1986 in New York City, New York, USA, to parents Jean and Richard Dyer Strait. He is half Italian and half English. He studied at Village Community School and Xavier High School. Later on, he took classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.

Talking about the actor’s love and dating life, he married actress Lynn Collins in December 2007. However, the couple separated in the year 2013. Currently, Strait is supposedly single and is concentrating on his present acting projects. The American artiste is not active on any social networking site as of now.

Steven Strait is a popular model who has modelled for numerous fashion magazines, including ‘L'uomo Vogue,’ ‘Pop’ magazine, ‘Details,’ ‘Spoon’ magazine, ‘Hollister Co.’ and ‘Surface.’ He made his acting debut in 2001 by appearing in an episode of ‘Third Watch’. In 2005, he was cast in the movies ‘Sky High’ and ‘Undiscovered’. A year later, he played Caleb Danvers in the flick ‘The Covenant’. Soon after this, Strait got the opportunity to act in the films ‘10,000 BC’ and ‘Stop-Loss’.

He then appeared as Tony Nardella in the comedy-drama flick ‘City Island’ in 2009. The following year, he appeared in an episode of ‘Chase’. Then in 2012, he joined the cast of the series ‘Magic City’ as Steven "Stevie" Evans. The same year, he did the movie ‘After’. In the year 2014, the American actor guest-starred in the drama ‘Revenge’. A year later, he began portraying the character of Jim Holden in the series ‘The Expanse’.

Steven Strait is signed to Lakeshore Records and will soon release his full-length solo album. As a musician, he has also contributed to seven songs of the movie ‘Undiscovered.’
