Stefanie Scott was born in Chicago where she spent the first few years of her life before relocating with her family to Indialantic, Florida. Later on, she took classes to hone her musical and acting skills and was selected as a cast in numerous local drama productions.
She shifted to Los Angeles in 2008 to further her professional career. Nothing much is known about her personal life and there are no rumors about her dating anybody. She is still a single.
Stefanie Scott was born on 6 December 1996, in the Illinois, Chicago. Paul Scott, her father, is an endodontist by profession, while her mother, Diane Scott who pioneered ‘Aroma Dough’—a gluten-free playdough brand—operates an independent business of promoting and selling the dough.
Stefanie is the youngest of the three children born to her parents. She has two brothers older to her, the eldest, Troy Sidabras is a well-known golfer, and the brother just elder to her, Trent Sidabras, is a legal practitioner.
She went to Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, an Episcopal coeducational K-12 academic institution in Melbourne, Florida. From 2010 onwards, she continued with her education from home. She was instinctively drawn towards acting and modeling when she was just a kid, performing in plays as well as appearing in print and digital magazine advertisements.
In 2009, when Stefanie was a 13-year old teen, she was featured as a ‘California Discovery Girl’ in the ‘Discovery Girls’ periodical’s August /September 2009 edition.
Her acting career took off when she bagged the role of ‘Katie’ in the film, ‘Beethoven’s Big Break’, the sixth instalment of the Beethoven series. A DVD of the movie was released on 30 December 2008.
In 2008, she also made her small screen debut in “Chuck Versus the DeLorean”, an episode of the ‘Chuck’ TV series. She next appeared as ‘Briana’ as the voice of ‘Briana’ for the ‘Special Agent Oslo’ series installment titled, “Goldfeather/Live and Let Ride”. She acted as ‘Britney Burke’ in the series, ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’.
She portrayed Dana Tressler in the romantic comedy film ‘Flipped’ that was released for screening across theaters in 2010. The movie directed by Rob Reiner bombed at the box office.
In 2010, Stefanie guest-starred in the ABC sitcom ‘Funny in Farsi’ and in the Fox TV series, ‘Sons of Tucson’.
In 2011, she portrayed the lead character of Lexi Reed in the Disney Channel series, ‘A.N.T. Farm’, for 62 episodes. In the same year, she portrayed the character of young Emma in the movie ‘No Strings Attached’.
Stefanie, besides acting in films and TV serials, has also achieved widespread fame and recognition as a singer. She composed almost all her album and non-album singles as well as developed the musical scores for the songs. She published her first single, “Break the Floor” (non-album) in 2008.
She recorded and released her second single, “Shoulda Woulda Coulda” in 2008 that was included in her debut and only EP, ‘New Girl in Town’ which was released in 2009. She released three promotional singles, “Girl I Used to Know”, “FYI”, and “I Wanna Let You Go” in 2011, 2012, and 2014 respectively.
She appeared as a singer along with Carlon Jeffrey in the single, “Pose” that was part of the ‘A.N.T. Farm’s soundtrack. She also sang along with Hilary Duff, Aubrey Peeples, and Aurora Perrineau for the singles, “Youngblood”, “Hit Me Up”, “We Got Heart”, and “I’m Still Here”.
