Clark studied at the Hindley Elementary School and later attended The Taft School in Connecticut. After this, he graduated from the Columbia University and received his bachelor's degree in political science and economics from there.
Spencer Treat Clark first appeared on television in 1995, in the drama ‘Another World’ as well as in the TV film ‘It Was Him or Us’. He then did the thriller movies ‘Arlington Road’ and ‘Double Jeopardy’. After this he had roles in the films ‘Gladiator’, ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Mystic River’.
