She is a fan of Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, and Amy Poehler, but considers her mother as her greatest role model. She was reportedly dated fellow ‘Disney’ star, Cameron Boyce in 2017.

Sophie likes to keep her personal life away from the limelight. She currently resides in California.

Sophie Reynolds was born on April 2, 1999, in California, United States. There is not much information about her family. She has, however, an elder brother named Owen with whom she currently lives in California.

Sophie started dancing at the age of three and learnt the art to become a professional dancer. She is trained in jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and tap style of dance.

She tried acting on the advice of her dance teachers and fell in love with it.

She made her acting debut in 2014, as a dancer in the film ‘Finding Oblivion.’ Her breakthrough role came in the 2015 series ‘Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything’ in which she played the lead.

She gained a lot of recognition and fame after starring in the ‘Disney XD’ series. She played ‘Ashley Parker,’ a blonde-haired high school girl, who played volleyball.

Landing a role in the ‘Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything’ was a dream come true for Sophie since she was in love with ‘Disney’ shows and loved ‘Hannah Montana’ from childhood.

In 2015, she also appeared in TV series’ ‘Home & Family’ and ‘Piper’s Picks TV’ as herself. In 2016, she landed another role in the fantasy film ‘Mostly Ghostly: One Night in Doom House,’ based on R.L Stine’s book of the same name.

In 2017, she lent her voice to a character named ‘Juniper’ in the animation series ‘Big Hero 6: The Series.’

She is famous as an actress, but Sophie has also worked as a ‘Senior Researcher’ for ‘Nesta’s Policy and Research Unit.

She used to work as an English and Social Studies teacher in Oman before pursuing acting. She also served as an ‘Attendee Coach’ for ‘Southwark College’ in Oman, Muscat.

She has also written various research papers for publications, such as ‘Digital Social innovation’ and ‘Making Sense of the UK Collaborative Economy.’ All through her career, Sophie has worked at various centres and conducted public and innovation programs for ‘Nesta.’

Sophie is the face of a monthly digest called ‘Lab Notes.’ She is also working on an ‘EU-Funded Research Project.’
