Soni Nicole Bringas

Soni was born in Portland, Oregon. She was incredibly fond of dancing from when she was a child. She started dancing lessons when she was just five years old and from that point onwards, there was no looking back. Given her passion and dedication,she landed major commercials and gigs at quite ayoung age. By the time she became a teenager, she had already worked in many commercials and was also taking part in competitive dance challenges.

Her first brush with fame was when she landed the part of a hip-hop dance in the CW series, ‘Jane the Virgin.’ A supertalented dancer, she also performed at the ‘Dancing with the Stars 2104’ Finale to promote her movie ‘Annie.’

Soni has worked with a number of major celebrities while acting in commercials as well as in her many dance videos. Her major breakthrough came when she landed the role of Ramona Gibbler in the Netflix original series ‘Fuller House’ thatpremiered in 2016. It is a sequel to the highly popular 1990s sitcom ‘Full House.’ In the series, Bringas plays the role Kimmy Gibbler’s teenage daughter, who moves in to the house, and is obsessed with boys, fashion, and clicking hundreds of selfies a day!

Soni loves dancing, and has been training since she was five years old. She trains for about 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on her commercial and shooting schedules, and particularly likes hip-hop.She has performed with famous artists like Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber, Missy Elliot, Kimbra, Sharaya and many more.

She has made appearances in commercials for brands including American Girl, the Jordache commercial and The Swagger Wagon Toyota commercial. She was also seen with Heidi Klum in the Jordache commercials. However, despite receiving all the fame and attention at such a young age, Soni is extremely down-to-earth and modest. The 14-year-old is wise for her age, as is evident from her advice to all the young kids, who want to become professional dancers like her. She asks them to understand and appreciate the efforts of their parents and teachers who are helping them on their way.

Soni’s mother is from Spain while her father is from Uruguay. Although Soni is well on her way to becoming a professional dancer now, initially she was not very excited when her mom sent her to dance class, and she even insisted that she wanted to stop! Over the months though, her passion for dance grew by leaps and bounds, and she has been dancing ever since.
