Sofia Abramovich was born on 2 April 1995 to Irina and Roman Abramovich. Her parents divorced when she was a teenager, and she currently lives with her mother in London. They have two homes, one in Belgravia and the other is Chester Square. During the weekends, the family spend their time at their Fyning Hill Estate in Petersfield, West Sussex. She is quite close to her father and adores him, as is evident in the several photographs posted of them on her Instagram page. She is also very close to her siblings, Ilya, Arina, Arkadiy, and Anna. Her best friends include Megan, who is Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, and Clementine Stewart, daughter of ITN newsreader Alistair Stewart.

Sofia’s birth was sealed with fame as she was born to the Russian businessman Roman Abramovich, who is a billionaire and currently owns Chelsea Football Club, among other businesses. She made the headlines of several websites and newspapers when she threw her 18th birthday bash. She hosted the event in her own nightclub, Under the Bridge, at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge ground, with over 500 people in attendance. The teen pop bands Scouting for Girls and McBusted were included in this extravagant celebration. The party is said to have cost around £30,000. Roman didn’t attend her party as his ex-wife was part of the celebration.

Sofia’s lifestyle since her birth reflected the family’s wealth. She studied in elite private schools where she would travel by a helicopter and was driven around by chauffeurs. She is currently driven to her University in bulletproof Range Rovers, and is constantly surrounded by bodyguards. Her mother had commented earlier that their life wasn’t a fairytale and they always had to hire a group of bodyguards to protect themselves.

She is a professional horseback rider and has taken part in several equestrian events. Her horses, Bugsy and Rainbow, are estimated to cost around a whopping £300,000. She is very attaching to her horses and often posts photographs of them in stables and her tending to them. She is an accomplished showjumper. In addition to horses, she has three dogs and a cat. At her A levels, she studied Biology, Russian, Economics and Psychology. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management at Royal Holloway, University of London.
