Snoopmaya was born on November 23, 2001, in Atlanta, Georgia. She has younger and older sisters, who have been featured in a few of her 'YouTube' videos.

Snoopmaya is an ardent music lover. Earlier, she would listen to band music a lot. Her all-time favorite band is 'Pierce The Veil.' She also owns three 'Pierce The Veil' T-shirts. Snoopmaya listens to almost all kinds of music, except country music. Her favorite music genre is rap. She loves the colors light pink and baby blue. She loves to munch on cinnamon-flavored ‘Hot Tamales’ candies. Snoopmaya is a movie buff, too, and her favorite movies are 'Stand by Me' and 'Corpse Bride.'

Snoopmaya grew up with a passion for music. However, making a career in social media was never on her mind. She never really liked the idea of performing on the application 'musical.ly.' She believed it was silly to perform on someone else’s composition, that too, for a few seconds. Nevertheless, Snoopmaya eventually began liking the platform. Soon, she decided to become a "muser" and began posting lip-syncs and dance performances on 'musical.ly.' Snoopmaya currently has close to 50 thousand 'musical.ly' fans.

Snoopmaya began her 'YouTube' channel on September 13, 2013. The content on the channel consists of challenge videos, friend tags, personal entries, shopping hauls, storytimes, and topics related to her daily life. In her storytime videos, she has covered a number of sensitive topics, such as racism and bullying. Snoopmaya shared her own experiences of encountering racist comments and bullies. One of her most popular videos is ‘BLACK GIRL STRUGGLES,’ which has earned more than 800 thousand views. She had once expressed her fandom for beauty and fashion vlogger Aspyn Ovard's 'YouTube' content. Snoopmaya's 'YouTube' channel has garnered over 200 thousand subscribers. Snoopmaya is also present on 'Instagram,' where her posts have earned her over 86 thousand followers. However, her 'Twitter' account is yet to gain momentum.
