Sheikh Akbar

Sheikh Akbar was born on November 4, 1993 in Brooklyn, NY, USA. He has a sister and three brothers. He initially aspired to be a lawyer and studied criminal justice at John Jay College. His parents hail from Bangladesh.

Sheikh Akbar began his entertainment career in 2011 when he and his partner Adam Saleh launched a collaborative channel on YouTube on New Year’s Eve, uploading their first ever video on January 6, 2012. Around the same time, Akbar also launched his self-titled channel on the social platform. He simultaneously began working for the prank and vlog channel TrueStoryASA as well. This channel employs a group of pranksters to prank common people and to carry out various social experiments.

After working for the channel for a period of time and subsequently gaining considerable popularity through it, Akbar left the channel. Since then he has been focusing on his solo channel. His channel has over 78k subscribers and features pranks, skits, social experiments, challenges and other amusing videos. One of the most recent videos on his solo channel is titled 'Men Are Dogs! Valentines Day Special.' Published on February 9, 2018, this is a comedy skit video. The most popular video on this channel is a social experiment on how people treat the rich vs. the poor.

Launched on May 9, 2015, this channel features vlogs concerning Akbar’s crazy life with his friends and family.
