In 1984, she married TV producer Michael Greenburg but unfortunately the marriage ended in divorce in the year 1990.
In 1993, she became romantically involved with writer and producer, William J. MacDonald. The couple got engaged but the engagement was called off in 1994.
In 1998, she married journalist and editor, ‘Phil Bronstein’ and together they adopted a son, Roan Joseph Bronstein. They divorced in 2004. She has two other adopted children, Laird Vonne Stone and Quinn Kelly Stone.
Sharon Stone was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania to Joseph William Stone II, who worked in the tool and die manufacturing industry and Dorothy, a housewife and accountant.
In 1975, she graduated from the Saegertown High School in Saegertown, Pennsylvania. She also participated in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant and won the Miss Crawford County title.
In 1977, she moved to New Jersey in order to pursue a career in the field of modelling. She subsequently signed up with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York.
In 1980, she appeared in her first film, as an extra in Woody Allen’s, ‘Stardust Memories’, which received bad reviews and did not attract even the loyal Woody Allen fans.
