Personal Life

Shaquon was involved in several crimes since his teenage days. Sources revealed that the tumultuous relationship between his parents was the reason for his criminal history. Shaquon was in eighth grade when he was caught smoking weed. He was suspended from school but was saved by his mother. However, Shaquon continued to indulge in minor criminal activities, and that led him to enter the juvenile justice system. Shaquon had 11 misdemeanor cases and one felony charge against him. These cases included a legal charge for gun possession, to which he pleaded guilty. He spent a year in prison for the same charge.

Career

Shaquon was 20 when he was shot dead by a rival group. He had previously survived gun attacks twice. He was attacked for the first time in February 2014, outside a ‘McDonald's' outlet in Rogers Park. Shaquon survived the attempt, but a 17-year-old boy named Markeyo Carr was killed in the attack. A few months later, in July, Shaquon was targeted again, while walking in the 1300 block of Devon Avenue. He survived again, but one of the bullets fired killed Wil Lewis, a 28-year-old photographer.

The incidents led to an online war between Shaquon’s gang and his rivals. Shaquon began making fun of his rival gang through his music videos. The videos gained a massive number of “views,” and that fueled the rival gang’s aggression. Meanwhile, Shaquon was busy promoting his upcoming mixtape, '2 Cups Part 2 of Everything.'
