Shannon Carpenter

Shannon Carpenter has been present on social media, especially on YouTube, since 2009. She used to post dance videos, videos on school projects, or just random fun stuff. However, she has received unprecedented attention after her sister, Sabrina Carpenter, was cast in the coming of age Disney sitcom, ‘Girl Meets World’, in 2013. Along with the rest of her family, she became a celebrity for making occasional appearances on the hit television series. Nevertheless, she is a social media star in her own right, and has earned praise from her fans for her remarkable fashion sense. Her Instagram posts, often with her family and friends, get a lot of attention from the fans of the Carpenter family.

Shannon Carpenter is a very accomplished dancer and is also interested in music. According to her, dance and music are inseparable parts of her life. During her school days, she choreographed for and performed in dance routines at The Sharon Disney Lund School of Dance at The California Institute of the Arts. She intends to become a choreographer in the future and also hopes to establish a performing arts high school in her name. While she doesn't sing in public, she can sing well. She also loves to play the piano. She describes herself as an adventure loving person and photography is among one of her hobbies. She proudly identifies herself as a scientologist, believing in the controversial religion founded by L. Ron Hubbard in 1955.

However, as her fans learnt about her sisters Sarah and Sabrina's singing skills from the television show and live performances, they became more curious about Shannon's skills as a singer. On August 6, 2015, she gave in to the demands of her fans and shared on her Twitter account a clip with her singing in it, asking her fans not to hate. Despite her reservations, her fans were overjoyed witnessing her singing prowess. She is comparatively less popular than her two younger sisters, Sarah and Sabrina, but once mentioned in a tweet that she actually loves being the unknown sister.
