Shane Harper

Shane Harper was born as Shane Steven Harper on February 14, 1993 in La Jolla, California, to Tanya and Scott Harper. He has a brother named Sullivan as well as a sister named Samantha.

Harper was in a relationship with singer/actress Bridgit Mendler from 2011 to 2015.

Shane Harper first appeared as a dancer in the 2006 flick ‘Re-Animated’. He then appeared in the flick ‘High School Musical 2’. In 2008, he appeared as a contestant on ‘Dance on Sunset’. A year later, he worked as a supporting dancer in the reality show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Then in 2010, the actor played a role in the Bollywood Film ‘My Name Is Khan’ as well as in the American flick ‘Flipped’. The same year, he started playing the role of Spencer Walsh in ‘Good Luck Charlie’.

Then in 2013, Harper was cast as Austin in the series ‘Awkward’. The following year, he became a part of the independent film ‘God's Not Dead’, the musical flick ‘Dance-off’ and the series ‘Happyland’. Soon after this, he appeared in the family movie ‘Lift Me Up’. The American artiste then did the television movie ‘The Passion: New Orleans’ in 2016. A year later, he appeared in an episode of ‘Wisdom of the Crowd’. Harper also acted in the TV films ‘Dirty Dancing’ and ‘The Time Capsule’ the same year.

Harper's first single ‘Dance with Me’ from his self-titled album was released in March 2010. The following year, he released the album as well as its second single titled ‘One Step Closer.’ After this, the third single ‘Rocketship’ came out. The singer released his first EP titled ‘Dancin' in the Rain’ on August 14, 2012. Four years later, his second EP "Like I Did” was released.
