Seth Gabel was born on October 3, 1981 in Hollywood, Florida, the USA. He was raised with the surname ‘Cosentino’ that he took from his stepfather. He studied at the University School of Nova Southeastern University and then went on to graduate from the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He is a great-nephew of the late actor Martin Gabel.
Seth Gabel married actress, Bryce Dallas Howard, in 2006 after dating her for five years. As for now, the couple has two children: son Theodore Norman Howard-Gabel and daughter Beatrice Jean Howard-Gabel. Seth Gabel is the son-in-law of artists Cheryl Howard and Ron Howard. He is the best friend of actor Josh Gad with whom he attended high school. The American actor is also related to Peter Gabel and Arlene Francis.
Seth Gabel had his first acting role in the romantic comedy flick ‘Tadpole’ in 2000. He then appeared in an episode each of ‘100 Centre Street’ and ‘Sex and the City’ respectively. In 2004, he appeared as Adrian Moore in the TV series ‘Nip/Tuck’. The following year, the actor got featured in the dramas ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and ‘The Closer’. Soon after this, he was cast in the thriller movie ‘The Da Vinci Code’. Gabel then played the role of Jeremy Darling in the series ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ from 2007 to 2009. During this time, he also had a role in the film ‘Good Dick’.
From 2010 to 2013, he played Lincoln Lee in the series ‘Fringe’. He also appeared in the movies ‘Jonah Hex’, ‘Take Me Home Tonight’ and ‘Allegiance’ during this time interval. Gabel next joined the cast of the drama series ‘Salem’ in 2014. The following year, he appeared in three episodes of ‘Celebrity Name Game’. Then in 2017, he got featured as Michele Besso in the TV series ‘Genius: Einstein’.
