Sean O’Pry

Sean O’Pry was born to a half Native American and half Irish family on 5th July 1989 in Kennesaw, Georgia. He grew up in the countryside and attended ‘North Cobb High School’. He has two siblings - an elder brother, Chris, and a younger sister, Shannon.

Immediately after high school his career as a model took off in the fashion and entertainment industry. From 2009 to 2012, he was in a relationship with Romanian model, Diana Moldovan, and later dated the Chinese model, Ming Xi, for a year in 2012, but their relationship hit rock bottom in 2013. Sean is currently single.

After graduating from high school, Sean turned towards modeling as a career but it wasn’t until his prom pictures were discovered by Nole Marin, founder/owner of ‘AIM Model Management’ on Sean’s MySpace account. With the support of a righteous hand assisting him, Sean’s journey has been smooth ever since.

He has been the lead face of several ad campaigns for huge brands such as ‘Calvin Klein’, ‘Giorgio Armani’, ‘Versace’, ‘Dolce & Gabbana’. ‘H&M’, ‘Marc Jacobs’, ‘American Eagle’, ‘Ralph Lauren’, ‘GQ’, ‘DSquared’, ‘Numero Homme’, ‘Gap’, ‘Diesel’ and ‘Lacoste’.

Not only has he drawn millions as a print and commercial model but also blown minds on the runway at various fashion shows. He has walked the ramp for ‘Salvatore Ferragamo’, ‘Givenchy’, ‘Trussardi’, ‘Moschino’ including top fashion designers such as ‘Louis Vuitton’, ‘Chanel’, Hermes’ and ‘Roberto Cavalli’.

With women smitten by his drop dead gorgeous looks, it wasn’t long before he became a popular face in music videos too with his lead appearance in the Taylor Swift’s music video of ‘Blank Space’ and in Madonna’s sizzling video of ‘Girl Gone Wild’.

O’Pry was named the eighth most successful model by ‘Forbes’ magazine in 2008 and moved up to the first spot the following year. Models.com ranked him first amongst the ‘Top 50’ most successful male models in 2015. Sean was rated fifth on Vogue’s list of all-time best male models with seasoned Tyson Beckford topping the list.

Ranking number one itself sets him apart from the rest, but having no background in modeling and still making it to the top of the list has been a matter of great pride for the sexy hunk.

He never imagined that his future would change over a phone call from ‘AIM Management’ and Sean made most of the opportunity. With his natural stellar looks and chiseled frame, he has stolen the hearts of women of all ages worldwide and is an inspiration for young aspiring male models. His humility and love for his family, especially his mother definitely shines through. She has been his biggest motivation.

Sean’s penetrating blue eyes can be the show stealer, but apart from simply looking good at any given moment, he is a sports lover. He used to represent his baseball team in high school with basketball and football also being his sports interest.

Coming from country side, he gets charmed with the smaller aspects of life and isn’t much of “live life in lavish style” person. He loves Waffle House and spends his vacations with his family.

He currently resides in New York and finds it the opposite of the South American culture. He is an animal lover and keeps a pet dog. In an interview Sean stated that if there were one thing he would like to better about himself it would be his ramp-walk and hilariously added that he’s lucky male models don’t have to wear heels.
