Schuyler Fisk was born on July 8, 1982 in Los Angeles, California, the USA to Jack Fisk and Sissy Spacek. She has a younger sister whose name is Madison. She studied at the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia and graduated from there in 2006. Talking about the actress’ love life, she has been married to Chapman Bullock since May 2012.
Schuyler Fisk made her film debut in the year 1990 when she appeared as Little Sara Lee Turnover in the comedy-drama ‘Daddy's Dyin': Who's Got the Will?’ The same year, she featured in the historical drama film ‘The Long Walk Home’. After this, she did the movies ‘Hard Promises’ and ‘Trading Mom’. Her breakthrough role came in 1995 when she was cast as Kristy Thomas in the comedy flick ‘The Baby-Sitters Club.’ It was a comedy-drama film directed by Melanie Mayron.
In 1996, the actress played Joe in ‘My Friend Joe’. Soon after, she got featured as Lane Leonard in the movie ‘Snow Day’. In 2002, she was cast in a supporting role in the teen comedy ‘Orange County’, appearing opposite Jack Black and Colin Hanks. Three years later, Fisk appeared in an episode of 'One Tree Hill' as well as in the film ‘American Gun'. She portrayed Jill in the movie ‘I'm Reed Fish’ in 2006.
In 2011, she played Elizabeth Cotton in the romantic drama flick ‘Restless’. Three years later, she was cast as April in the romantic drama film ‘The Best of Me’. In 2016, the actress had a role in an episode of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’.
Schuyler Fisk started writing and composing her own songs at the age of 15. In 2004, she signed with Universal Records. In 2006, she took a break from acting to focus on her music career. During this time, she recorded a demo with Joshua Radin and also wrote a song titled “Paperweight". After this, various other projects followed, including "I Just Remember Goodbye" and "Waking Life" for the movies ‘Gray Matters’ and ‘Penelope’ respectively.
In 2009, Fisk’s EP ‘One World. Be Kind’ was released. The same year, her debut album ‘The Good Stuff’ came out. In November 2011, the American artiste released the Christmas EP ‘Sounds of the Holiday’ on Amazon and iTunes. This EP included old classics, such as "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree”, "Silver Bells” and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” along with original Christmas music. In April 2012, Fisk's band FM Radio released an album titled ‘Out of the Blue’.
Over the course of her music career, Fisk has also collaborated with Sam Wilson and Carl Anderson. The trio formed the group The Restless Hearts which was later renamed 'Me and My Brother'. They went on to release their debut single titled "Restless Heart" soon after the formation of their band.
