Sasha began to work at the age of four by starring in numerous commercials and print work. At the age of six Sasha got her television break by co-starring as Buffy in the Warner Bros. comedy series, ‘Family Affair.’ She played the role of a young Goth girl who places a curse on the titular character, in the 2007 film, ‘Good Luck Chuck.’ The same year, she also played the younger version of Sarah Michelle Gellar's character in the film ‘The Air I Breathe.’ This movie also had Kevin Bacon, Forest Whitaker, and Emile Hirsch in important roles. The year 2007 also saw her playing a leading character in the Hallmark original film ‘Claire.’ When she was younger, Sasha was the face of Supercuts on a national billboard. She even modeled in the Macy’s Passport Fashion Show, performing throughout California. She has a huge fan base. She has over 1.78M followers on her twitter and over 5.8M followers on her Instagram account, whom she keeps updated with every little aspect of her life. She once admitted in an interview that she channels the character of Regina George from the movie ‘Mean Girls’ to play her role as Alison DiLaurentis in ‘Pretty Little Liars’ more efficiently. Not many people know this but Pieterse was born in South Africa. She moved to Las Vegas with her parents at the age of three and then to Los Angeles.
