Ryland Adams

Ryland Adams was born on May 14, 1991, in Denver, Colorado, the USA, to Vicki Adams, who is a photographer and receptionist, and Bruce Adams. His sister Morgan is also a YouTube vlogger. He attended Cherokee Trail High School and studied broadcast journalism at the Metro State University. Since 2016, he has been dating fellow YouTube star Shane Dawson. Currently he lives in Los Angeles, California, the USA.

Ryland Adams started his self-titled YouTube channel on February 9, 2010. It has garnered 2 million subscribers and 120 million views as of May 2018. He uploads videos on random topics every week, and most of them have crossed a million views. The channel’s most viewed video ‘Lie Detector Test on My Boyfriend *Emotional*’ garnered 4.5 million views in just five months. The video ‘James Charles Turned Me Into James Charles’ received over 3 million views in just one month!

In 2013, he created a pop culture YouTube channel called Utubular. As the host and producer for the channel, he collaborated with social media personalities Armen and Gigi to post about the latest Hollywood happenings and pop culture news.

He is not only a popular YouTuber but also a famed web host. He hosted and produced programs for the popular web news network Clevver Media from 2014 to 2017, helping the news channel amass over 3.4 million subscribers. Besides this, he is also applauded for hosting on AwesomenessTV, AFI, and Revolt TV.

As an actor and director, Ryland is well known for the 2015 sitcom, ‘#SketchTrending’ and ‘Shane’ (2017). He debuted in the film ‘3 Times a Charm’ in 2011 and played the role of a student.
