Rumer Noel was born on January 1, 1992 in Dallas, Texas, where she was also raised. She has two sisters named Anna and Willa. She began dancing at a very early age and later trained at her Great Aunt Kitty Carter’s studio, 'Kitty Carter’s Dance Factory'. There she trained under her mother, Robin Mack, as well as Kitty Carter. While at the studio, she earned recognition as a young dancer and assisted Nick Florez on various Co Dance conventions. Also there, she started teaching and choreographing early on.
After graduating from school in 2010, she enrolled at the University of Arizona as a dance major. She completed her graduation from the university in three years with honors and a BFA in fine arts. She previously played soccer and was a cheerleader. She also practices yoga.
She is in a relationship with Guy Amir, another faculty member at the ALDC, LA.
While still in school, Rumer Noel started choreographing and worked on a dance routine that made it into the Dance Program’s ‘Student Spotlight’ show in 2013 titled, ‘High For This’. After completing her graduation, she signed on to Bloc Talent Agency and moved to Los Angeles.
In 2016, she became well-known after appearing on two episodes of the dance reality TV show 'Dance Moms' (episode 3, ‘Mini Dancers, Big Drama’ and episode 16, ‘Mack Z vs. Abby Lee’) as a faculty member for the ALDC LA. Along with another faculty member, Guy Amir, she also choreographed two dance routines for the girls from the show: 'My Name' music video for Mackenzie Ziegler and 'Boomerang' music video for JoJo Siwa. During her career so far, she has worked with many renowned choreographers including Nick Florez, RJ Durell, Tyce Diorio, Kenny Ortega, Travis Payne, and Stacy Walker, working for celebrities like The Chainsmokers, Katy Perry, Jon Secada, Todrick Hall, K. Michelle and more. She also has her own YouTube channel through which she shares videos about her work, tutorials, and other stuff.
